About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Global Pouch Solutions Strategist to drive business growth and expansion through effective sales strategies and market development for our pouch filling and forming equipment globally.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to drive business growth and expansion for our pouch filling and forming equipment globally;
- Identify high-potential regions and customer segments for pouch equipment and develop targeted sales approaches;
- Leverage direct sales and third-party agents to penetrate new markets and establish relationships with key stakeholders;
- Collaborate with marketing and product development teams to differentiate our pouch solutions by tailoring equipment features to address market-specific needs and competitive landscapes;
- Mentor and support country sales managers to ensure they are knowledgeable and proficient in the technical aspects of pouch equipment;
- Foster a collaborative environment for sharing successful sales strategies and technical expertise across regions;
- Implement systems for rigorous performance monitoring of pouch equipment sales, including budgeting and sales data analysis;
- Uphold SIG's policies and ensure global sales activities for pouch equipment comply with all relevant industry standards and regulatory guidelines.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (Engineering degree advantageous);
- 5+ years in international sales within the packaging or equipment sector, especially in pouch filling and forming technology or flexible packaging;
- Strong ability to influence and collaborate across teams, drive projects, and take full ownership;
- Proven skills in effective communication and client engagement;
- Ability to generate leads and manage cross-cultural relationships;
- Deep understanding of pouch equipment technology, market dynamics, and competitive positioning;
- Advanced capabilities in MS Office and CRM (Salesforce desirable), with foundational SAP skills;
- Proficiency in English; additional languages beneficial.
