Operations Management Professor

The IQS School of Management at the University Ramon Llull is seeking a highly qualified and experienced academic to join our faculty as a University Associate or Assistant Professor in Operations Management. This is a tenure-ladder position, with the academic rank to be determined according to the experience and productivity of the candidate.
Key Responsibilities- Teach undergraduate and postgraduate level courses in Operations Management, depending on the candidate's field of expertise.
- Conduct innovative research of international standing in Operations Management, with a focus on areas such as process improvement methodologies, supply chain management, lean production, technology management, behavioral economics, and industrial organization.
- Play an effective and collegial role in the life and work of the School of Management, contributing to the development of the academic community and the university's research agenda.
- A doctorate in a relevant aspect of Operations Management or a cognate field (or strong evidence of completion of such a doctorate is imminent).
- Evidence of high-quality publications in reputable academic journals.
- Evidence of ability to engage in international collaborations commensurate with career stage.
- Evidence of interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and students.
- Knowledge of Spanish is desirable, but not essential.
- Experience of teaching at university level is desirable.
