About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Operations Specialist to join our Group Operations team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing expertise in Azure Cloud operations and implementation, ensuring the safe and stable operation of our cloud platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the migration of business applications from local datacenters to the public cloud, from analysis to solution design to infrastructure implementation.
- Enhance and operate a complex, hybrid cloud environment running thousands of applications globally.
- Design and implement platform and deployment automation using Azure DevOps, Terraform, Azure AppServices, Azure VMs, and Kubernetes.
- Collaborate with global and local security, compliance, operations, and finance teams to ensure secure and stable platform operations.
- Develop and maintain meaningful, near-real-time reports and manage PowerBI dashboards for finance teams.
Requirements:
- Multiple years of experience working with Microsoft Azure, especially with Azure VMs, App Services, Azure Storage technologies, and Azure Database PaaS services.
- Experience in architecting and implementing CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and application deployments using Azure DevOps and Terraform.
- Good knowledge of common development tools, including Git, GitHub, Sonarqube, Confluence, and Jira.
- Proficient in at least one scripting language, such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Good knowledge of Azure networking and load balancing technologies, including Application Gateways, VPN, ExpressRoute, VNETs, subnetting, and firewalls.
- Practical experience migrating applications from datacenter to the Azure cloud, including basic knowledge of database migration.
- Basic experience of cloud governance in an Enterprise environment, including user and subscription management.
- Basic knowledge of cloud cost optimization strategies and security automation.
- Excellent English language skills and willingness to work in an international setting.
