About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Financial Operations Specialist to join our team at Cfmg. As a FinOps Consultant, you will play a key role in empowering enterprise decision makers and pioneers to address cloud spend complexity and leverage their full cloud resource potentials.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, manage, and deliver innovative FinOps projects together with a highly motivated team and in alignment with the client's expectations and business needs.
  • Own your client relationship and support them at each step of the FinOps Lifecycle (Inform, Optimize, Operate).
  • Develop and implement FinOps Best Practices from the ground up and align them with FinOps principles.
  • Prepare and execute FinOps trainings, talks, and create blog posts to share knowledge and expertise.
  • Promote FinOps topic development within Cfmg and the FinOps Foundation.
  • Collaborate with the team to extend the offering with exciting new opportunities, such as FinOps for sustainability.
Requirements
  • Successfully completed university studies in business, computer science, economics, mathematics, or a related field.
  • First experience in managing IT projects is desirable (e.g., with Scrum, Kanban, or Waterfall Methodology).
  • Strong customer orientation, communication skills, ability to deal with conflicts, self-initiative.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, an interest in ambitious work, flexibility, and enjoy being challenged in a fast-paced environment.
  • Cloud certifications (AWS, GCP, Azure) or FinOps Practitioner are desirable.
  • First experience with cloud cost management tools is desirable.
  • Very good communication skills in English and Spanish.
  • Willingness to travel.
