Job Title: Agro West Europe Capability Lead

PepsiCo is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Agro West Europe Capability Lead to join our team. As a key member of our Global Agriculture function, you will play a critical role in maximizing our scale for the biggest bets and building critical capabilities to drive progress against our strategic potato agenda.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage global strategic partnerships to accelerate scaled innovation across business.
  • Build key playbooks to enable "lift and shift" collaboration and leverage Global best practices.
  • Drive standardization and scale of proven (best) practices across PepsiCo while identifying and securing the investments and strategic partnerships across local markets required for the future.
  • Work with the Global team and across West Europe Agronomy team / farmers to integrate these Global partnerships and Best Practices through locally relevant adaptation to deliver accelerated potato productivity and reduce current high barriers of entry for new, local farmers through improved crop resilience, grower livelihoods while driving accelerated adoption of Pep+ vision.
Requirements:
  • Deep Agricultural, crop-level expertise required to influence farmers.
  • Further Education qualifications relevant to business application.
  • High level of Computer literacy (PowerPoint, Excel and Tableau; Ability to navigate & exploit Internet, interrogate Oracle and other business applications).
  • Excellent analytical skills and ability to clearly communicate with all levels of the PepsiCo Organisation's and suppliers.
  • Ability to work alone and take initiative. Identify potential roadblocks and profile them to Management for clarification and resolution. Manage and execute projects in a timely manner. Ability to prioritise.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Strong collaboration and matrix management not only internal but with external suppliers and organisations.
  • High level of people development and influence over external parties.
  • Key industry knowledge and leverage of practices not only with respect to potatoes but other crops with direct transfer opportunities.
