About the Role

Four Seasons Hotels Ltd seeks an exceptional Lead Event Strategist to join our team at our prestigious luxury resort on the stunning Mallorca Peninsula in Spain.

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced professional with a proven track record of delivering high-profile events and exceeding client expectations. As a Lead Event Strategist, you will be responsible for leading our event planning team and developing strategic plans to drive revenue growth and deliver exceptional guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Negotiate with clients to achieve maximum revenue and profit potential while satisfying their needs.
  • Finalize confirmed bookings and maximize revenue through upselling and effective communication with all departments.
  • Maintain accurate records and provide bill reviews upon completion of programs or events.
  • Conduct site visits with potential clients and verify departmental updates regarding group and event requirements.
  • Supervise the execution of all groups and events, ensuring seamless delivery and exceeding client expectations.
  • Review function spaces with the banquet manager and head house attendant as needed.
  • Attend meetings with hotel staff and clients to ensure smooth operations and address any challenges that may arise.

Requirements:

  • Excellent Spanish and English communications skills (verbal and written).
  • Positive attitude and effective interpersonal skills.
  • High level of creativity, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
  • Outgoing and open-minded personality with leadership experience and resilience in peak times.
  • Previous experience in a similar position (minimum of 1 year) within the luxury hospitality industry.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher.
  • Knowledge of Golden Sales Catering and Opera is preferred.

Salary Information:

We offer a competitive salary range of €60,000 - €80,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits and opportunities for career advancement within our global luxury hospitality company.
