About the Role

The Business Technology Consultant is a key member of our Client Engineering agile team, working closely with Account Teams and IBM Technology to drive business value for our clients. As a Business Outcome Champion, you will partner with Account Technical Leaders, Customer Support Managers, and IBM Services to deliver client business value through experiential selling and co-creation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with Account Teams to identify and qualify business opportunities for Client Engineering
  • Collaborate with Account Technical Leaders and Customer Support Managers to develop business value assessments and just enough business cases
  • Own the engagement close-out process and hand-off to other IBM teams and customers
  • Work with client business stakeholders to understand business level outcomes and guide projects and squads to deliver those outcomes
  • Propose IBM product extensions and linkages to solve client business challenges
  • Translate client needs and desired outcomes to actionable strategies and roadmaps
Requirements
  • Strong technical knowledge base of IBM technology themes (Hybrid Cloud, AI, Quantum, Sustainability, Analyze/Modernize/Secure/Automate)
  • System Thinking and Business Component Modeling skills to understand client business domains and solve problems
  • Agile Practitioner and Design Thinking Practitioner experience
  • Excellent listening, analytical, and communication skills
  • Spanish and English fluency
