About Street Child
Street Child is a charity dedicated to empowering vulnerable children worldwide by providing access to education and sustainable means for their families. We are an ambitious international development charity seeking a talented individual to join our team in Barcelona.
Key Responsibilities
- Fundraising research: Identify new funding prospects in Italy, including trusts, foundations, and major donors.
- Foundations proposal writing: Craft compelling proposals for trusts and foundations using knowledge of Street Child projects.
- Marketing and Communications: Promote local and international events, update the website, and engage with the public.
- Administrative tasks: Support day-to-day operations for Street Child Italy.
- Business development: Establish and manage collaborations with other organizations and companies.
- Volunteer coordination and event management: Manage the volunteer base, recruit new volunteers, and support planned events.
Requirements
- Self-motivated, proactive, and innovative thinking with the ability to work independently.
- Interest in the non-profit sector and Street Child's mission.
- A willingness to be flexible, have fun, and enjoy a laugh with the team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Native Italian level and professional English skills.
- Knowledge of the web, social media, and Microsoft Office.
