Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly motivated and proactive Italian Fundraising Intern to join our team in Barcelona. As a key member of our EU Development team, you will play a crucial role in supporting our fundraising efforts in Italy and contributing to the growth of our organization.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct research to identify new funding prospects, including trusts, foundations, and major donors in Italy, and establish relationships with them.
- Develop and write compelling funding proposals for trusts and foundations, leveraging knowledge of our projects and programs.
- Support marketing and communications efforts, promoting local and international events, and updating our website.
- Assist with administrative tasks, supporting the day-to-day operations of Street Child Italy.
- Build and manage collaborations and partnerships with other organizations and companies, driving business development and growth.
- Manage our volunteer base, recruit new volunteers, and support event planning and execution.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and innovative thinker with excellent communication skills and a professional manner.
- Interest in the non-profit sector and Street Child's mission.
- Ability to work independently, use initiative, and be flexible.
- Native Italian level and professional English skills, with Spanish as an asset.
- Knowledge of web, social media, and Microsoft Office.
