Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Regional Manager, Europe to lead our Asset Management team in Europe. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the operational performance of our Nextracker operating fleet in Europe, ensuring customer satisfaction, and driving operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the Asset Management team in Europe, responsible for operational performance, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency.
  • Act as primary customer contact for customer issues and operating fleet performance.
  • Responsible for customer satisfaction, providing high-quality customer service, troubleshooting, and resolving customer issues with minimal escalations.
  • Build, manage, coach, and lead the Asset Management team in Europe, providing a high level of oversight and achieving high levels of retention.
  • Execute the operating budget of the Asset Management team in Europe, including team sizing, resource planning, hiring, compensation packages, and approving other operational expenditures.
  • Implement and manage dashboards and reporting templates to track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) relative to Asset Management business and the Nextracker operating fleet.
  • Support the deployment of software and data analysis solutions and services.
  • Actively monitor and optimize the performance and operations of the Nextracker operating fleet in Europe.
  • Support the European Sales team in customer meetings and positioning Nextracker for sales and revenue.
  • Identify process improvement, automation, or product opportunities and prioritize them accordingly.
  • Provide rapid and proactive response to high-profile or escalated issues.
Requirements
  • Strong understanding and knowledge of the European PV market and relationships with key counterparties, including customers, utilities, and service providers.
  • BS in Engineering, Science, or Renewable Energy.
  • Master's degree or Business degree is a plus.
  • Minimum 6-8 years of Renewable Energy experience, including 3-4 years in the European market.
  • Excellent team management skills, including leadership, mentoring, recruitment, and coaching.
  • Ability to lead a diverse team on mission-critical activities related to customer service and operations.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills for a client-facing role.
  • Ability to manage customer escalations, lead negotiations, and influence outcomes.
  • Proven ability to compile and present business and technical reports to executive staff and internal stakeholders.
  • Deep understanding of solar PV system design, operations, technologies, maintenance, and industry drivers.
  • Technical expertise regarding solar project performance and operations, with knowledge of PV system performance characteristics, modeling, metrics, analytics, and communications.
  • Ability to develop, prioritize, and drive initiatives both externally and internally, and to work cross-functionally with Sales, Project Services, Product, Quality, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, prioritize, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work through logistical challenges related to parts & project delivery, across a diverse region.
  • Strong drive for Renewable Energy and industry development.
  • Available for frequent travel and day-to-day interactions with diverse European and U.S.-based teams.
