About the Role:We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Food & Beverage (F&B) Manager to oversee daily operations, manage a dedicated team of 15 staff members, and train the incoming Assistant F&B Manager to take on the role of F&B Manager post-season. This is a unique opportunity for an individual who thrives in a hands-on, operational role within a small yet thriving resort environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversight of all F&B operations for three dining outlets, ensuring the highest standards of service and guest satisfaction
- Conducting training and mentorship for the local Assistant F&B Manager and other staff, fostering a strong, cohesive team
- Developing and implementing engaging training programs to enhance service quality and team performance
- Collaboration with the General Manager to execute seasonal menu planning and special events
- Maintenance of operational budgets, implementation of cost-control measures, and optimization of resource utilization
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and safe work environment
- Bringing creativity and innovation to the dining experience, regularly updating menus and offerings based on seasonality
Qualifications:
- A proven track record in training and developing F&B teams; experience in a hands-on management role is essential
- Previous experience in a fine-dining environment or boutique resort preferred but not mandatory
- Strong leadership qualities with a knack for building relationships and creating a positive, fun atmosphere
- Ability to thrive in a small resort setting, working closely with all levels of staff
- Excellent communication skills, with a good sense of humor to enhance team morale
