As a key member of the Cemex team, the Regional Fleet Manager EMEA will play a crucial role in enabling, fostering, and supporting best fleet management practices across the region. This includes developing and implementing mid- and long-term machine replacement and investment plans, as well as owning and operating expenses tracking and control.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent project management, collaboration, and communication skills, with a strong understanding of fleet management best practices, technologies, and tools. They will work closely with various stakeholders, including business sectors, dealers, and OEMs, to drive continuous improvement and maximize equipment reliability and availability at the lowest possible cost.

Key responsibilities will include building internal capability across fleet management practices, providing leadership on fleet management KPIs, strategic sourcing, and local service networks development. The Regional Fleet Manager EMEA will also be responsible for managing local/regional supplier performance, monitoring external markets for commercial opportunities and challenges, and influencing new products or technologies to be tested in operations.

Additionally, the successful candidate will work with operations areas to validate and deploy specifications for mobile equipment, services, and materials, and provide budget recommendations for fleet operations. They will also deal with authorized and developing dealers, contractors, and vendors to secure equipment availability, and coordinate long-range plans to eliminate and replace mobile equipment.

Qualifications include fluency in English, at least 5 years of experience managing mobile equipment, and a strong track record of integrity, ethical behavior, and professional values. The ideal candidate will be a change agent with excellent project management, collaboration, and communication skills, and a strong understanding of fleet management best practices, technologies, and tools.

Internal and external relations will be key aspects of this role, with interactions with all business sectors inside Cemex, as well as regional mobile equipment dealers and networks of regional leading companies. The Regional Fleet Manager EMEA will be a strategic ally to the Global Fleet Management area, driving first-class practices and positioning Cemex for optimal growth and profitability.
