Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Field Service Engineer to join our team in EMEA. As a technical leader, you will be responsible for providing first-class on-site service to ensure maximum customer satisfaction and loyalty. Your primary focus will be on EPMS/DCIM/SCADA projects, providing field service for customers in the areas of hardware/software installation, startup, maintenance, debugging, and training of EPMS, DCIM, and SCADA systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide on-site hardware installation and software pre-configuration of Power Management and control systems and next-generation Power Monitoring and SCADA platforms.
  • Work with software configuration engineer on-site to implement system integration, installation, start-up, maintenance, debugging, pre-configuration, pre-commissioning, FAT, SAT, and training.
  • Support junior Field Service Representatives as they execute jobs in the field, providing troubleshooting and technical support.
  • Assist with procurement and maintenance of PPE for field resources.
  • Provide timely, detailed, and accurate site reports on service work performed, product performance, and warranty liabilities to company expense and time allocation.
  • Contribute to working process, engineering capability, and resource review.
  • Work with senior management for hiring, training, coaching, and team building.
Qualifications:

We are looking for a candidate with a computer science or electrical engineering background, suitable education/qualifications, and relevant years of service experience providing field service for engineering projects of complex working scope. The ideal candidate will have skills in EPMS/DCIM/BMS software offerings, associated products such as SQL and MS/Linux OS, networking knowledge and certifications, virtualization experience (VMware, Hyper-V), teamwork, communication skills, customer focus, and flexibility. Ability to work together with different cultures and follow instructions is essential.

Mobility to travel within the EMEA on short notice is required.
