Fashion Communications Administrator

Join Primark's dynamic team as a Fashion Communications Administrator, where you will play a key role in the Global Fashion Communications PR team. This exciting opportunity will see you coordinating the press office and showroom, focusing on the management of samples, image databases, press requests, and influencer activations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and maintain online image banks, ensuring timely updates for the wider team.
  • Research and gather necessary collateral for press events, seasonal trend activations, and influencer partnerships.
  • Develop and write effective PR materials, including press releases, social media plans, event running orders, and briefing documents.
  • Pitch to online press, print media, and influencers, showcasing Primark's brand and products.
  • Compile fashion and news alerts for global markets, maintaining an updated calendar of communications aligned with the brand's marketing calendar.
  • Support the implementation of PR strategies, ensuring seamless execution and timely delivery.
  • Manage media and influencer gifting, seeding, and production of goody bags for media and events.
  • Oversee the day-to-day PR samples to media, influencers, and external agencies, ensuring timely and organized returns.
  • Manage and file press folders and reference material, archiving press clippings and tracking brand coverage through Unicepta and Wearisma.
  • Assist with ad-hoc press activity, press events, in-store events, and influencer activations.
  • Stay up-to-date with the ever-changing social media landscape, including Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and emerging tools.
  • Support content creation for Primark's Instagram account, working with senior team members to ensure a cohesive brand look and feel.
  • Maintain a fresh and engaging press office, working closely with Primark HQ to ensure key product showcases.
Requirements:
  • At least 1 year's experience in PR, marketing, or a related field.
  • Strong awareness and interest in the social influencer landscape.
  • Excellent English language skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook, with Adobe Photoshop and InDesign knowledge an advantage.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a proactive and assertive approach to meeting business requirements.

  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to analyze and interrogate high volumes of data, with a focus on higher-level overviews.
  • Proven ability to manage sensitive matters while ensuring all Primark information remains confidential.
  • Collaborative team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating high levels of emotional intelligence and the ability to push back professionally.
