Fashion Communications Administrator Job Description

Join Primark's Global Fashion Communications PR team as a Fashion Communications Administrator. This role is responsible for coordinating the press office and showroom, focusing on sample management, image databases, press requests, and influencer activations. You will support Primark's Iberian market, working closely with Fashion Communications Coordinators and Officers to ensure efficient and effective day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and maintain online image banks, updating the wider team regularly.
  • Research necessary collateral for press events and seasonal trend activations.
  • Write effective PR materials, including press releases, social media plans, event running orders, and briefing documents.
  • Pitch to online press, print, and influencers.
  • Compile fashion and news alerts for global markets and maintain an updated calendar of comms in line with the global marketing calendar.
  • Support the implementation of PR strategies in line with the global marketing calendar and Primark brand.
  • Manage media and influencer gifting, seeding, and production of goody bags for media and events.
  • Manage PR samples to media, influencers, and external agencies, ensuring timely and organized returns.
  • File press folders and reference material, archive press clippings, and track brand coverage received daily through Unicepta and Wearisma.
  • Assist with ad-hoc press activity, press events, in-store events, and influencer activations.
  • Maintain knowledge of influencer marketing campaigns, agencies, and paid activations.
  • Attend team meetings to review progress and identify future objectives.
  • Maintain a strong knowledge of the social media landscape, including Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and emerging tools.
  • Support creating content for Primark's IG account, working with senior team members to ensure a Primark look and feel.
  • Responsible for the upkeep of the press office, keeping it new and fresh with key products and working with Primark HQ.
  • Stay abreast of industry developments, keeping up to date on fashion trends, styles, celebrities, and online communities in specific markets.
Requirements:
  • At least 1 year's work experience in PR or marketing.
  • Awareness and interest in the social influencer landscape.
  • Good level of English language, both written and verbal.
  • Knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Adobe Photoshop and InDesign knowledge an advantage.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proactive and assertive, reacting to key business requirements in a timely manner.
