Fashion Communications Administrator

Join Primark's dynamic team as a Fashion Communications Administrator, where you will play a key role in the Global Fashion Communications PR team. This exciting opportunity will see you coordinating the press office and showroom, focusing on the management of samples, image databases, press requests, and influencer activations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and maintain online image banks, ensuring timely updates for the wider team.
  • Research and gather necessary collateral for press events, seasonal trend activations, and global marketing campaigns.
  • Develop and implement effective PR materials, including press releases, social media plans, event running orders, and briefing documents.
  • Pitch to online press, print, and influencers, showcasing your exceptional communication skills.
  • Compile fashion and news alerts for global markets, maintaining an updated calendar of comms in line with the wider brand marketing calendar.
  • Support the implementation of PR strategies, aligning with global marketing campaigns and Primark's brand vision.
  • Manage media and influencer gifting, seeding, and production of goody bags for media and events.
  • Ensure PR samples are recorded, monitored, and stored appropriately, with timely returns if required.
  • Manage and file press folders and reference material, archiving press clippings and tracking brand coverage through Unicepta and Wearisma.
  • Assist with ad-hoc press activity, press events, in-store events, and influencer activations.
  • Maintain a strong knowledge of influencer marketing campaigns, agencies, and paid activations.
  • Attend team meetings to review progress and identify future objectives.
  • Stay up-to-date with the ever-changing social media landscape, including Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and emerging tools.
  • Support content creation for Primark's IG account, working with senior team members to ensure a cohesive look and feel.
  • Ensure the press office remains fresh and engaging, working with Primark HQ to maintain a strong brand presence.
Requirements:
  • At least 1 year's experience in PR, marketing, or a related field.
  • Strong awareness and interest in the social influencer landscape.
  • Excellent English language skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook, with Adobe Photoshop and InDesign knowledge an advantage.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a proactive and assertive approach.
