Role Overview

The Amazon Vendor Services team is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join their Experts team. As a Financial Analyst, you will play a critical role in analyzing vendor financial deductions based on supply chain process issues, creating comprehensive reports, and sharing results with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze financial and operational defects and identify root causes for financial deductions, define joint action plans to resolve critical disputes or hold situations with vendors.

• Facilitate regular progress reviews with vendors to create sustainable long-term results

• Build trusting relationships across job functions and levels within the vendor's organization (e.g. Key Account Manager, Supply Chain Manager, Finance Manager, CEO, Customer Service Manager)

• Collaborate on cross-functional projects with internal stakeholders to create new processes and improve existing ones (e.g. facilitating better communication between teams, creating new tools and efficiency through offshoring of simple workflows)

• Travel within the EU may be required for this role

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree

• 1-2 years of professional experience

• Analytical and problem-solving skills

• Experience in creating comprehensive analysis for senior stakeholders

• Demonstrated negotiation skills and building relationships with internal and external stakeholders

• Excellent written and spoken English

• Knowledge in MS Office programs as Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in data analysis and project management

• Basic SQL and Advanced Excel skills

• Understanding of supply chain processes

• Fluency in one additional European language (e.g. German, French, Italian, Spanish)
