Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Expert to join our Amazon Vendor Services team. As a Financial Expert, you will play a critical role in analyzing vendor financial deductions, identifying root causes, and developing joint action plans to resolve critical disputes or hold situations with vendors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze Financial and Operational Defects: Identify root causes for financial deductions and define joint action plans to resolve critical disputes or hold situations with vendors.
- Facilitate Regular Progress Reviews: Work closely with vendors to create sustainable long-term results and ensure effective communication across job functions and levels within the vendor's organization.
- Build Trusting Relationships: Cooperate and build trusting relationships across job functions and levels within the vendor's organization, including Key Account Managers, Supply Chain Managers, Finance Managers, CEOs, and Customer Service Managers.
- Work on Cross-Functional Projects: Collaborate with internal stakeholders to create new processes and improve existing ones, including facilitating better communication between teams, creating new tools, and offshoring simple workflows.
- Travel Requirements: Travel within the EU may be required for this role.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's/Master's Degree: A degree in a relevant field, such as finance, accounting, or business administration.
- Professional Experience: 1-2 years of professional experience in a related field.
- Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify root causes and develop effective solutions.
- Experience in Creating Comprehensive Analysis: Experience in creating comprehensive analysis for senior stakeholders, including data analysis and presentation skills.
- Negotiation and Relationship-Building Skills: Demonstrated negotiation skills and ability to build trusting relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Language Skills: Excellent written and spoken English skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office programs, including Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in Data Analysis and Project Management: Experience in data analysis and project management, including basic SQL and advanced Excel skills.
- Understanding of Supply Chain Processes: Understanding of supply chain processes and ability to analyze and improve them.
- Fluency in Additional European Language: Fluency in one additional European language, such as German, French, Italian, or Spanish.
