Digital Pathology Business Developer

As a Sales Specialist for Digital Pathology Solutions, you will be responsible for developing the growth of the regional Digital Pathology business in Spain and Portugal. Your primary focus will be on implementing the DP strategy, leading regional activities to win business from new accounts and existing Leica customers.
Main Objectives- Execute the regional Digital Pathology business strategy, with a specific focus on market share capture.
- Build and deliver Digital Pathology projects that match customer needs and expectations.
- Manage Digital Pathology sales opportunities in large and medium-sized competitive accounts across the full funnel process from lead to implementation.
- Partner with the Account Managers, Regional Sales & EMEA Digital Pathology & Workflow Team to ensure consistent above-market growth.
- Liaise with Distribution and Customer IT departments to effectively design and implement the Digital Pathology solution.
- Research and develop new opportunities to increase Leica Biosystems' market share.
- Support the tender response team on technical application processes.
- Communicate the Vision 24 impact to customers and represent the winning characteristics of Leica versus competitors.
- Support value selling and smart pricing models.
- Apply DBS tools in all areas to maximize results and optimizations.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A university degree in IT or Telecommunication Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Relevant experience in the Health Care IT environment, including knowledge of technologies, products, processes, and selling/purchasing with the hospital environment.
- Excellent communication skills in Spanish and English, both written and spoken.
- Willingness to travel within the defined territory up to 60% of the time.
