About the Location:
The Four Seasons Resort Mallorca is perched on the spectacular Formentor Peninsula and backed by panoramic vistas of the Mediterranean and the surrounding landscapes, the hotel was originally opened in 1929 within an expansive private estate. Currently undergoing restoration and renovation, this stunning historic property is scheduled to open its doors as a Four Seasons resort soon.
The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Bartender to join our pre-opening team at the Four Seasons Resort Mallorca at Formentor. As a key member of our bar team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests while maintaining high standards of quality and presentation. Your passion for mixology and creativity in crafting unique cocktails will make you stand out in this role. In addition to your technical skills, you will also be expected to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ensuring seamless interactions with colleagues and guests alike.
Main Responsibilities
- Elaborate signature cocktails and take initiative with being creative in designing the perfect cocktail to meet our guest expectations.
- Responsibility for organizing and controlling the operations of the Bar.
- Meet all Four Seasons and Health Department food, beverage and safety standards.
- Stock, re-stock, and organize the retail items in the bar needed.
- Assist with daily inventory and ordering.
- Anticipate guest needs, ascertain satisfaction, and offer suggestions, and respond urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you must have a strong background in bartending and a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service. You should be passionate about creating memorable experiences for our guests and possess excellent communication and teamwork skills. Additionally, you will need to have fluency in English and Spanish, as well as the legal right to work in Spain.
What We Offer
In return for your hard work and dedication, we offer a competitive salary of approximately €28,000 - €35,000 per year, depending on experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package, including excellent training and development opportunities, complimentary accommodation at other Four Seasons hotels and resorts, dry cleaning services for your uniforms, and employee meals.
