Energy Projects Manager, Infrastructure Energy Team

We are seeking a highly skilled Energy Projects Manager to join our Infrastructure Energy Team in EMEA. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing end-to-end power scaling strategies for our data centers across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.
Key Responsibilities- Power Growth Strategy Development: Collaborate with real estate and planning teams to develop and execute a comprehensive power growth strategy for our EMEA data centers.
- Power Capacity Origination: Prospect for, originate, and contract the power capacity needed to support the delivery of our data centers.
- Risk Management: Identify risks in the delivery and operation of power grids and develop mitigations in collaboration with partner teams.
- Cost Savings Initiatives: Identify and develop cost-saving projects and initiatives related to grid and network infrastructure.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with electricity utilities and other external stakeholders to develop strategies that support our expansion in EMEA.
- Policy Development: Work with our Public Policy team to develop policies and guidelines that enable broader AWS strategies and objectives.
The Infrastructure Energy team is a dynamic and growing team responsible for originating, contracting, and delivering reliable power connections to our data centers across EMEA. We are a collaborative team that values innovation, sustainability, and customer satisfaction.
