Job Summary

The Front Desk Coordinator is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to CIEE participants and visitors, ensuring a warm and welcoming environment at the CIEE Center. This role serves as the primary point of contact for students seeking assistance with health, safety, and security-related matters, as well as providing administrative support to the Administrative Department with tasks such as office management, classroom logistics, and IT support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Welcome CIEE participants and visitors, providing a positive first impression of the CIEE Center.
  • Act as an initial point of contact for students seeking assistance with health, safety, and security-related matters.
  • Provide administrative support to the Administrative Department, including office management, classroom logistics, and IT support.
  • Assist with food catering services, ensuring that participants' dietary needs are respected.
  • Clean up after Center events and activities, maintaining a tidy and organized environment.
  • Contribute to keeping the shared communal areas and classrooms in an optimal condition.
  • Manage and track work time records, as well as perform other administrative tasks as needed.
  • Supervise the storage, borrowing, and return of remote controls, as well as assist with sign-up sheets for cultural activities and events.
  • Distribute mail and sign for necessary correspondence and deliveries, notifying students of special deliveries or packages.
  • Maintain the classroom calendar and reservations for classrooms, student lounge, and meeting rooms.
  • Enforce security protocols and be familiar with fire safety escape routes.
  • Maintain the telecommunication system and keep IT devices updated, including the center inventory, and provide support to staff with hardware issues.
