Senior Sales Lead - Airport IT Business Development

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Sales Lead to join our Airport IT Business Development team at Amadeus. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving business growth and revenue expansion in the Airport IT market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prospect, Negotiate and Sell

Identify and qualify new business opportunities by establishing and developing relationships with top-level executives in the Airport IT industry.

Business Planning and Strategy

Participate in the preparation of long-term sales plans, including sales forecasts and solutions based on customer feedback.

Account Management

Manage all commercial matters related to existing accounts, ensuring that customers use Amadeus technology in the best way and that established performance, productivity, and service metrics are achieved.

Market Analysis and Intelligence

Perform market and competitor analysis to stay up-to-date on industry trends and customer needs.

Stakeholder Management

Create, develop, and maintain stable relationships with key decision-makers within the travel industry and related sectors.

Internal Collaboration and Knowledge Sharing

Drive the relationship with internal stakeholders to guarantee the right level of service is provided to customers.

Requirements

  • Experience

At least 10/12 years of experience in sales, business development, and hunting new customers.

Industry Knowledge

Travel industry knowledge and/or experience working in a regulated environment with public tenders.

Skills

Strong communication skills and customer-facing skills, with the ability to work in a complex and matrixed environment.
