About the Role:
Lhr Américas is seeking a highly skilled Business Development Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our corporate development team, you will play a critical role in identifying and evaluating new business opportunities, developing and executing strategic plans, and driving growth through mergers and acquisitions (M&A), joint ventures, and divestments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough due diligence on target companies, analyzing financials, market trends, and competitive landscapes.
- Develop and execute business plans, including financial modeling, market research, and strategic analysis.
- Negotiate and structure deals, working closely with internal stakeholders, advisors, and external partners.
- Manage the entire transaction lifecycle, from initial screening to deal closure.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, partners, and industry experts.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Economics, Business, or Finance from a recognized international program.
- 10-15 years of experience in business development, with a strong background in M&A transaction execution.
- Proven track record of success in identifying and evaluating new business opportunities, developing and executing strategic plans, and driving growth through M&A, joint ventures, and divestments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
- MBA or equivalent qualification.
- Industry expertise in specific venturing activities, such as commercialization, spin-offs, or joint venturing.
