About the Role

AECOM is seeking a highly skilled Smart Building Systems Engineer to join our team in Spain. As a key member of our Building Services Engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and delivering complex building facilities projects within the Telecom Infrastructure discipline.

Main Responsibilities
  • Produce detailed design information, including calculations, schematic drawings, technical reports, and specifications.
  • Collaborate with the architecture team to provide spatial requirements for telecom systems.
  • Coordinate the design with mechanical, electrical, and plumbing disciplines to provide connectivity and functionality requirements of the systems.
  • Propose approaches to solve new problems encountered.
  • Identify discrepancies in results.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Industrial Technology with specialization in Telecommunications or Control Systems.
  • At least 2 years' experience designing Telecom Infrastructure systems for different kinds of building facilities projects.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish, verbal and written.
  • Knowledge and/or experience in graphic design software such as VISIO, AUTOCAD, or REVIT.
  • Previous international experience highly valued.
