About the Role

AECOM is seeking a highly skilled Smart Building Systems Engineer to join our team in Spain. As a key member of our Building Services Engineering team, you will play a crucial role in designing and delivering complex building facilities projects, focusing on Telecom Infrastructure systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and deliver Telecom Infrastructure systems for various building facilities projects, including Public Address/Voice Alarm, Building Management System, Video Surveillance System, Access Control System, and Intrusion Detection System.
  • Collaborate with the architecture team to provide spatial requirements for telecom systems and coordinate design with mechanical, electrical, and plumbing disciplines.
  • Develop detailed design information, including calculations, schematic drawings, technical reports, and specifications.
  • Attend design team meetings and contribute to the development of technical proposals.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Industrial Technology with specialization in Telecommunications or Control Systems and at least 2 years' experience designing Telecom Infrastructure systems.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish, both verbal and written.
  • Knowledge of graphic design software, such as VISIO, AUTOCAD, or REVIT, is desired.
  • Previous international experience is highly valued.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and excellent problem-solving skills.
