Job Description:

Navantia is seeking a talented Electrical Systems Engineer to join our team in Madrid. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work on innovative projects related to electrical systems for ships, focusing on the development of new propulsion systems and the application of Artificial Intelligence for Smart Grids.

Main Responsibilities:

• Design and develop advanced electrical systems for naval applications, prioritizing safety and energy efficiency.
• Participate in research and development projects for electric and hybrid propulsion systems, aiming to reduce carbon emissions and improve efficiency.
• Collaborate with international teams to share knowledge and best practices in electrical system design and development for the naval industry.
• Utilize simulation tools to optimize electrical system design and performance, and develop digital twins of ships.
• Develop Smart Grids using Artificial Intelligence technologies, improving network management and efficiency.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, power electronics, and control systems.
• Experience with simulation tools and digital twin development.
• Familiarity with Artificial Intelligence and machine learning concepts.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
