About the Role
We are seeking an experienced administrative assistant to join our Education & Training Department at Instituto de Salud Global de Barcelona. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing departmental activities, including scheduling, travel arrangements, and event planning.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage internal department calendars and meeting agendas
- Process payments and reimbursements
- Organize travel and logistics for departmental activities
- Plan and manage events
- Perform administrative tasks related to academic and training activities
Requirements
- 3-7 years of experience in a similar administrative role
- Undergraduate degree or professional certification in a related field
- Experience in an academic or research environment, preferably in global health-related institutions
Skills
- Problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Interest in learning new skills
Language Requirements
- Advanced written and spoken English required
- Other advanced languages, including Spanish, Catalan, and Portuguese, are highly valued
Working Conditions
- Part-time contract (50% of full-time)
- Salary range: Technic II
