About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Chef de Partida to join our culinary team at Four Seasons Hotel Madrid. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the preparation of breakfast, lunch, and dinner food items, ensuring the highest standards of quality and presentation. This is a key role within our kitchen team, and we are looking for someone who is passionate about delivering exceptional culinary experiences.
- Supervise the mise-en-place and cooking of food for service, ensuring the highest standards are maintained for all outlets.
- Ensure your section is kept to the highest standard of cleanliness, and that each member of your team is fully conversant with Health, Safety, and Hygiene regulations.
- Initiate new ideas for menus, garnishes, and other culinary enhancements.
- Ensure all members of your team are familiar with their daily tasks and provide on-going refresher training as required.
- Maintain a clean and organized section, including fridges and storage areas.
- Ensure a proper handover to the next shift/Chef de Partida and that all mise-en-place is in order before finishing duty and before taking days off.
- Assist with other requests as instructed by the Executive/Sous Chefs.
Requirements
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Chef de Partida who possesses strong leadership and communication skills. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of culinary experience as Chef De Partida in a reputable 5-Star Hotel or Michelin-Starred restaurant. Advanced knowledge of kitchen tools and culinary operations is essential, as is fluency in reading, writing, and spoken English and Spanish. A flexible schedule and ability to work all shifts, weekends, and holidays are also required.
