Public Relations Specialist

AirHelp is seeking a skilled Public Relations Manager to join our dynamic Marketing Department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for shaping our narrative, crafting compelling press materials, and ensuring our spokespeople are well-prepared to communicate our message effectively.
This is an exciting opportunity to work for an international market leader and contribute to revolutionizing the air travel experience. You will play a vital role in managing our relationships with mass media worldwide and helping to increase air passenger rights awareness.
Key Responsibilities- Media Relations: Write and edit press releases to communicate key messages and announcements effectively.
- Storytelling: Create and identify stories and campaigns that highlight AirHelp's work and increase air passenger rights awareness.
- Spokesperson Support: Prepare briefing materials for our spokespeople to ensure they are well-equipped for media interactions and public speaking opportunities.
- Agency Management: Assist in managing relationships with external PR agencies, coordinating activities and providing direction as needed.
- Administrative Tasks: Undertake tasks such as maintaining media lists, tracking coverage, and managing PR-related documentation.
- Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the Marketing Department, Data Team, and Legal Team to execute strategic communication initiatives.
- Language Skills: Fluency in English with exceptional written communication skills, capable of crafting compelling messages that resonate with diverse audiences.
- Language Proficiency: Proficiency in at least one additional language (preferably German, Spanish).
- Media Experience: Experience working with a diverse range of media outlets and navigating complex media landscapes, securing media coverage and building relationships with journalists.
- Communication Skills: Ability to distill abstract concepts and data information into clear, concise, and engaging messages, along with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Industry Experience: Experience working in PR, communications, or related fields, preferably across multiple European/American markets.
