The Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Legal Operations Manager to join our team at Celonis. As a key member of our Legal & Trust organization, you will play a critical role in designing and delivering processes, practices, and tools aimed at improving departmental efficiency and effectiveness.

In this role, you will leverage your background and experience in delivering legal operations projects to drive strategic and operational initiatives across the legal organization. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing and supporting strategic and operational initiatives across the legal organization
  • Developing, implementing, and managing processes, practices, and tools in support of the Legal function
  • Identifying opportunities for process improvement and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deploy these initiatives
  • Supporting the Chief of Staff, Legal & Trust with reporting on metrics and case studies
  • Supporting outside counsel and supplier management processes
  • Executing operational tasks in support of the Legal function, including organization and management of Legal department records
  • Developing and implementing processes to track legal spend, accruals, and budgets to identify cost-saving opportunities
  • Assisting with the analysis, tracking, and reporting of team KPIs
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Previous experience working within a lean Legal Operations function
  • Closely attention to detail, well-organized, and adept at working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • High energy, strong communication skills, and a positive attitude
  • Confidence in working and troubleshooting with minimal oversight
  • High level of emotional intelligence, cultural awareness, and uncompromising ethical standards
  • Ability to effectively prioritize, escalate appropriately, and multitask
  • Strong skill set working with office applications, including the Microsoft Office Suite, Salesforce, Adobe, Docusign, and Google Workspace
  • Experience working with Legal Operations tools
  • Prior exposure to DocuSign CLM and Brightflag an advantage
  • Developed business acumen, with ability to understand the company's mission and anticipate changing requirements in a rapidly scaling company
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; business fluency in English required
