Job Summary
The Green Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Technical Operations to lead our Engineering and Technical team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing the technical aspects of our project portfolio, ensuring the successful delivery of our solar energy projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Technical Leadership: Provide technical oversight and leadership to the Engineering and Technical team, ensuring the successful delivery of projects.
- Project Management: Lead the technical aspects of project development, including feasibility studies, collaboration with development partners, and review of deliverables.
- Technical Due Diligence: Oversee and lead all technical due diligence processes for project acquisition or divestment, engaging with external technical advisors, sellers, or buyers.
- Procurement: Lead the technical facet of the procurement phase, collaborating with the Procurement Manager to define technical specifications, evaluate contractor proposals, and negotiate with suppliers and contractors.
- Asset Management: Provide technical support to the Asset Management team during the operational phase of projects on an ad-hoc basis.
- Relationship Management: Establish and optimize robust technical and commercial relationships with industry-leading technical service providers.
- Team Development: Recruit, retain, and develop a world-class Engineering team to provide top-notch support to the business.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in technical operations and project management.
- Strong technical knowledge and expertise in solar energy and engineering.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
