Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Site Contract and Budget Analyst to join our team at ICON. As a key member of our clinical trials team, you will be responsible for negotiating Clinical Trial Agreements (CTAs) and budgets with investigative sites and legal teams.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Budget Negotiations: Serve as the primary point of contact with investigative sites for budget negotiations, ensuring fair market value assessments and collecting relevant study documents to support budget escalations.
  2. Contract Language Negotiations: Collaborate with Vertex Legal and investigative sites to negotiate CTA language, adhering to our company's policies and procedures.
  3. Database Management: Document all budget and contract activities in a tracking database, maintaining accurate milestone data and ensuring timely updates.
  4. Communication and Liaison: Liaise with Vertex Legal, Study Management, CBM, and CRO (if applicable) to address and resolve site queries, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
  5. Meeting Attendance and Contributions: Attend and contribute to study-related meetings, providing valuable insights and expertise to drive project success.
  6. Relationship Management: Foster strong relationships with investigative sites, ensuring high standards of excellence and timely resolution of issues.
Requirements
  1. Strong Communication Skills: Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  2. Analytical Capabilities: Demonstrate strong analytical skills to understand and summarize high-level feedback on clinical trial budgeting processes.
  3. Presentation Skills: Possess intermediate presentation skills to effectively communicate budget decisions and rationales to various stakeholders.
  4. Matrix Teamwork: Ability to work in a matrix, cross-functional team environment, collaborating with diverse stakeholders to achieve project goals.
  5. Business Acumen: Thorough understanding of clinical trial budgeting processes and ability to articulate and defend company budget decisions and rationales.
