Job Title: Site Budget and Contract Specialist

At Innovaderm Research, we are seeking a highly skilled Site Budget and Contract Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Site Selection and Contracting team, you will work closely with project teams and the legal/contract department to prepare, negotiate, and execute budgets and contracts with investigator sites across Canada and internationally.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and negotiate site budgets and contracts to ensure compliance with sponsor-approved limits.
  • Collaborate with project managers to prepare contract schedules and send sponsor-approved contracts and budgets to sites for review.
  • Manage budget and contract negotiations with sites, escalating issues as necessary, and ensuring timely execution of contracts.
  • Track progress with contract/budget negotiation and timelines for site activation using CTMS or other tracking systems.
  • Keep project teams informed of progress and potential delays, and finalize site contracts/budgets with necessary signatures.
  • Update CTMS, trackers, and ensure proper filing of contracts/budgets and communications.
  • Manage site contract/budget amendments during the course of the trial, and perform site budget reconciliation during negotiation and at study closure.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a field relevant to clinical research or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of clinical research experience in the biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or CRO industry, including 2 years of experience managing site budget negotiation.
  • Good knowledge of good clinical practice, ICH standards, and applicable regulations.
  • Excellent English written and spoken skills.
  • Strong ability to carry out different projects simultaneously, organize work effectively, and work under pressure in accordance with deadlines.
