Site Contract and Budget Negotiator

We are seeking a highly skilled Site Contract and Budget Negotiator to join our team at ICON. As a key member of our clinical trial operations team, you will be responsible for negotiating Clinical Trial Agreements (CTAs) and budgets with investigative sites and legal teams.
Key Responsibilities- Contract Negotiation: Serve as the primary point of contact with investigative sites for budget negotiations, ensuring that all agreements are fair, reasonable, and compliant with company policies.
- Communication and Collaboration: Work closely with Vertex Legal, Study Management, and other cross-functional teams to address and resolve site queries, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration throughout the negotiation process.
- Budget Management: Adhere to CBM policies and procedures for CTA and budget negotiations, escalating budgets as required for fair market value assessments and collecting relevant study documents/rationale to support budget escalations.
- Documentation and Tracking: Document all budget and contract activities in a tracking database, maintaining accurate and up-to-date milestone data to ensure efficient and effective contract management.
- Relationship Management: Manage site relationships to high standards of excellence, ensuring that all interactions are professional, courteous, and respectful.
- Strong Communication Skills: Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact with internal and external stakeholders, including investigative sites and legal teams.
- Analytical Capabilities: Demonstrate strong analytical skills to understand and interpret complex contract and budget data, making informed decisions to drive business outcomes.
- Business Acumen: Possess a thorough understanding of clinical trial budgeting processes and the ability to summarize high-level feedback, ensuring that all agreements are fair, reasonable, and compliant with company policies.
- Team Player: Be able to work effectively in a matrix, cross-functional team environment, collaborating with colleagues to achieve shared goals and objectives.
