Currently, we are looking for a Strategic Pricing Lead EMEA Refinish to join us at our facility in Asturias, Spain. This role is responsible for developing and managing pricing strategies across the product portfolio, analyzing business deals, and ensuring competitive pricing through benchmarking and profitability assessments. The position supports data-driven decision-making and ensures that product pricing aligns with the company's overall product strategy.

The key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the pricing strategy for new and existing Refinish products, ensuring alignment with the product value proposition and market positioning.
  • Price setting of new and existing products comprising the broad portfolio of Refinish products including paint, non-paint, and services.
  • Ad-hoc support for price setting involving key business initiatives (tenders/key accounts/special price actions/special projects) that require in-depth price simulations.
  • Collection and monitoring of competitive information.
  • Benchmarking against competition.
  • Participation in meetings relevant to the position.

This position serves as a liaison between local Sales teams and senior leadership to present and secure approval for high-impact business deals requiring HQ involvement. Building and maintaining strong relationships across Finance, Sales, Product Management, Customer Segments is essential to ensure smooth execution of pricing strategies and identify value capture opportunities.

The ideal candidate will define, implement, and optimize the Deals Management process, including tools and templates for customer agreements (discounts, rebates, commissions, etc.) for both Direct and Indirect sales channels. Collaboration with sales and marketing teams to prepare business cases, set customer targets, and assess year-end results is necessary to ensure deals are profitable and align with pricing frameworks and margin thresholds.

Maintaining competitive pricing and benchmarking data to support informed pricing decisions and maintain competitive positioning is a critical aspect of this role. Enhancing and maintaining pricing tools and models for profitability simulations, ensuring accurate product comparisons and strategic pricing recommendations, is also essential. Providing training and support to sales and marketing teams on pricing analysis and adjustments is required to drive informed pricing actions across the organization.
