Job Description

Elecnor Deimos is seeking a highly skilled GNC Modelling and Simulation Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing advanced simulation models and tools to support the development of spacecraft and launch vehicles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop simulation models and tools to support the development of spacecraft and launch vehicles
  • Develop and maintain complex mathematical models of spacecraft and launch vehicle dynamics
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate simulation models with other engineering tools and systems
  • Develop and implement automated testing and validation procedures for simulation models
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and technicians
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum 1-3 years of experience in spacecraft dynamics and simulation
  • Strong background in MATLAB/Simulink and C programming languages
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Desirable Skills
  • Experience with physical modeling using Simscape
  • Knowledge of object-oriented programming and software engineering principles
  • Experience with XML and automatic code generation
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken
