About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Business Developer to join our team at Alpiq, a leading Swiss power producer and energy service provider operating throughout Europe. As a Business Developer, you will play a crucial role in identifying and developing business opportunities aligned with our company's strategy, analyzing their profitability, and participating in the negotiation to incorporate assets into our portfolio of owned projects.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and value new business opportunities in the field of renewable energies, especially assets with flexibility and storage.
- Actively participate in Due Diligence processes for the acquisition of projects/companies and perform the analysis of generation assets.
- Negotiate co-development agreements with third parties.
- Develop an adequate network for the identification of opportunities aligned with Alpiq's strategy.
- Ensure and follow up on the fulfillment of developer and project commitments as set forth in the acquisition and development agreements.
Your Profile:
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced professional with a degree in Industrial Engineering/Civil Engineering, preferably with a Master in Renewable Energies. You should have at least 4 years of experience in the power generation sector in Spain, ideally in energy management. Additionally, you should have experience in the acquisition of portfolios/projects, financial modeling for the modeling of generation projects, and good knowledge of electricity markets and flexible asset valuation.
