About the role:
We are currently seeking a skilled and innovative Food and Beverage Operations Supervisor to join our pre-opening team. Reporting to the Restaurant Assistant Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the daily operations of our Food and Beverage department.
Key Responsibilities:
The ideal candidate for the Food and Beverage Operations Supervisor position will possess a unique talent and enthusiasm for ensuring that you and your team consistently uphold the highest standards, placing our culinary offerings at the heart of the guest experience. You should bring extensive Food and Beverage expertise from luxury hospitality settings, a commitment to nurturing team development, and a creative spirit that infuses energy and personal flair into all dining experiences. Your responsibilities will include:
· Creating and maintaining an elegantly appointed atmosphere, with a dedicated staff focused on delivering an attentive and distinctive experience for all meal periods.
· Greeting and seating guests with a friendly demeanor, ensuring a pleasant dining experience throughout.
· Overseeing the effective management of the dining room.
· Managing reservations and seating arrangements in accordance with service standards.
· Ensuring the application of correct and consistent service techniques across various meal periods.
· Anticipating the needs for materials and supplies, ensuring their availability.
· Monitoring the usage of all food and beverage items, as well as the appropriate use of equipment and service tools.
· Observing the daily condition of all physical facilities and equipment in the restaurant, making recommendations for improvements as necessary.
· Collaborating with other departments to ensure a cohesive team of professionals.
· Ensuring a safe working environment for all restaurant employees, responding appropriately to any emergency or safety situation, and completing all accident reports promptly.
· Promoting positive public relations and addressing any guest complaints or concerns.
· Demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of all food and beverage items offered, including ingredients, preparation methods, and proper service, along with an expert knowledge of wines and spirits.
· Actively participating in all required meetings.
· Fostering teamwork and cultivating a harmonious working environment.
· Participating in all inventories related to the restaurant's operations.
· Utilizing the computer system for ringing, printing, and closing checks, as well as generating shift reports.
· Providing full support to the Restaurant Assistant Manager and assuming responsibility for the restaurant in their absence.
· Performing additional tasks or projects as assigned by hotel management.
Qualifications:
· Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking both Spanish and English.
· 1-2 years of experience in restaurant operations, with at least 1 year in Food & Beverage service.
· Familiarity with service standards and practices.
· Computer literacy is essential.

Schedule & Hours:
Full-time contract of 40 hours per week with rotating shifts from Monday to Sunday.
Candidates must possess the legal right to work in Spain and demonstrate fluency in both English and Spanish.
