About the location:
The Four Seasons Resort Mallorca is situated on the breathtaking Formentor Peninsula, offering stunning views of the Mediterranean and the surrounding scenery. Originally opened in 1929 within a vast private estate, this historic property is currently undergoing restoration and renovation, set to welcome guests as a Four Seasons resort in the near future.About the role
We are seeking a skilled and innovative Food and Beverage Supervisor to be part of our pre-opening team. Reporting to the Restaurant Assistant Manager, you will assist in overseeing the daily operations of our Food and Beverage services.
Key Responsibilities
Our ideal Food and Beverage Supervisor will possess a unique talent and enthusiasm for ensuring that you and your team consistently deliver the highest standards, placing our culinary offerings at the heart of our guest experience. You should have extensive experience in Food and Beverage within luxury hotels, a commitment to team development, and a creative spirit that infuses energy into all our dining experiences. Ideally, you will also have experience with new hotel or resort openings, and your responsibilities will include:
· Creating and maintaining an elegantly appointed environment, with exceptional staff dedicated to providing an attentive and distinctive experience for all meal periods.
· Greeting guests warmly, seating them, and ensuring a pleasant dining experience.
· Effectively managing the dining room operations.
· Controlling reservations and seating arrangements in accordance with service standards.
· Ensuring consistent service techniques across various meal periods.
· Anticipating and assuring the availability of all necessary materials and supplies.
· Monitoring the usage of all food and beverage items and ensuring proper use of equipment and service tools.
· Observing the daily condition of all physical facilities and equipment in the restaurant; making recommendations for improvements as necessary.
· Collaborating with other departments to ensure a cohesive team of professionals.
· Ensuring a safe working environment for all employees within the restaurant, responding appropriately to any emergencies or safety situations, and completing all necessary reports promptly.
· Promoting positive public relations and addressing any guest complaints or concerns.
· Having a thorough understanding of all food and beverage items offered, including ingredients, preparation methods, and proper service, along with expert knowledge of wines and spirits.
· Attending and participating in all required meetings.
· Fostering teamwork and a harmonious working environment.
· Participating in all inventories related to the restaurant's operations.
· Utilizing the computer system for ringing, printing, and closing checks, as well as generating shift reports.
· Providing full support to the Restaurant Assistant Manager and assuming responsibility for the restaurant in their absence.
· Performing other tasks or projects as assigned by hotel management and staff.
Qualifications
· Excellent reading, writing, and oral proficiency in both Spanish and English.
· 1-2 years of experience in restaurant operations, with at least 1 year in Food & Beverage service.
· Knowledge of service standards and practices.
· Proficiency in computer usage.

Schedule & Hours:
