Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Claims Specialist - Casualty to join our team at AXA XL. As a key member of our Casualty Claims team, you will be responsible for handling complex casualty claims, providing exceptional customer service, and driving effective outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough loss investigations and determine recoveries, working within agreed time and budget constraints.
  • Maintain accountability for assigned claims until settlement or closure is reached.
  • Proactively monitor claims portfolios to prevent inactivity and provide timely updates to internal and external customers.
  • Obtain proper authorization for settlements exceeding personal or file limits.
  • Ensure fair and timely payouts, maintaining accurate records and adhering to claims procedural standards.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, supporting underwriting and sales processes.
  • Contribute to team spirit and foster a collaborative environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Law.
  • Experience in handling casualty claims, with specialized knowledge in other lines of business a plus.
  • Fluent Spanish and English language skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills, combined with a strong work ethic.
  • Customer-centric approach, with the ability to understand and anticipate customer needs.
  • Digital agility, with the ability to integrate digital tools and media into work processes.
  • Ability to respond to changing environments with flexibility and innovation.
  • Organizational skills to manage workload effectively.
