We are seeking a highly skilled Claims Handler Specialist to join our team at MSIG Insurance Europe AG. As a Claims Handler Specialist, you will be responsible for investigating and resolving claims in a timely and efficient manner.
Key Responsibilities- Claims Investigation: Conduct thorough analysis of claims to determine coverage and make decisions on acceptance or rejection.
- Negotiation and Settlement: Handle claims within delegated authority and negotiate settlements with claimants.
- Reporting and Communication: Provide regular updates to the Head Office Claims Department and collaborate with underwriters and loss engineers.
- Legal Support: Oversee legal representation and stay informed about case law, legislation, and professional agreements.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues to ensure effective claims handling and provide technical support as needed.
- Meeting Participation: Attend claims-related meetings and contribute to the development of claims strategies.
- Document Review: Review, refine, and sign contractual documents related to claims to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Education: Degree in law.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of professional experience in Property, Liability & Engineering Claims.
- Skills: Strong collaboration and team-building skills, native Spanish and good English language skills, and strong communication skills.
