About the Position:
The Public Sector Sales Strategy Analyst will play a crucial role in supporting the Global Public Sector Business Unit, the fastest growing business unit at Salesforce. This role is a hybrid of traditional jobs in strategic planning, sales operations, finance, and sales analytics - requiring a mix of data analysis, sales optimization, and business operational support. The role will support the Southern European Public Sector team and be directly involved in driving the continued success of Salesforce by supporting our growth strategy. Sample projects range from the strategic to the tactical including supporting day-to-day operations, quarterly forecast process, account/territory planning, and automating reporting. Deliverables include detailed analytic models, custom performance analysis, building an automated, scalable reporting infrastructure, and packaging findings into presentation-ready content for Salesforce executives. The role requires interaction and trust with various areas of the organization and provides exposure to senior executives.
Responsibilities:

Manage business unit related day-to-day operations
Assist in developing and delivering presentations for senior executives
Contribute to the weekly, monthly, and quarterly forecast process
Automate reporting and build dashboards for analysis using business intelligence tools
Support strategic initiatives such as fixing weak business areas and identifying areas of opportunity
Be a trusted advisor to the sales organization

Desired Skills/Experience:

Some experience in a sales strategy, data science, management consulting, finance, or product management organization a plus.
One of the following languages (in addition to English) is required: Italian, Spanish, or French
Demonstrated ability to structure complex problems, synthesize information, and develop solutions
Experience presenting insights to executives and non-technical audiences around analytics
Self-starter and high degree of motivation to go above and beyond the task at hand
Hands-on experience with Salesforce CRM and Tableau is a plus
Knowledge of analytics programming languages and/or database management languages including but not limited to Python, R, SQL, etc. is a nice to have
Experience working with an organization in a high-volume sales environment is a plus
Knowledge of Public Sector market is a plus
