At 2K, we're seeking a highly skilled Lead Lighting Artist to join our team. As a key member of our Lighting Department, you'll be responsible for leading the team and maintaining consistency across the department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise the implementation of lighting across various projects, environments, levels, and scenes to enhance visual appeal, atmosphere, mood, and gameplay.
- Collaborate with Level Designers, Environment Artists, Visual Effects Artists, and team leads to provide creative lighting solutions.
- Work closely with Creative and Art Directors to establish visual standards and lighting style guides.
- Collaborate with global Engineering, Tech Art, and development teams to debug issues, solve problems, and guide future technology standards.
Requirements:
- In-depth knowledge of real-time AAA lighting experience.
- A strong portfolio demonstrating experience lighting environments and characters for AAA games.
- Demonstrated proficiency with PBR is a must.
- Strong leadership, mentoring, and teaching skills.
