Senior Lighting Artist

Job Summary
As a Senior Lighting Artist at 2K Games, Inc., you will be responsible for leading the Lighting team and maintaining consistency across the department. You will provide direction and feedback to team members, ensuring they understand their role and expectations. Your goal will be to enhance the visual appeal, atmosphere, and mood of our games through effective lighting implementation.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise the implementation of lighting across various projects, environments, levels, and scenes.
- Work with Level Designers, Environment Artists, Visual Effects Artists, and team leads to provide creative lighting solutions.
- Collaborate with Creative and Art Directors to establish visual standards and lighting style guides.
- Debug issues, solve problems, and guide future technology standards with Engineering, Tech Art, and development teams.
- Build asset viewer maps and establish standards for content creation following PBR standards.
Requirements
- In-depth knowledge of real-time AAA lighting experience.
- A strong portfolio demonstrating experience lighting environments and characters for AAA games.
- Demonstrated proficiency with PBR is a must.
