Customer Service Liaison for Chemical Manufacturing

This role is a hybrid position, requiring the candidate to be in office three days and remote two days a week. The job entails providing premiere customer service to external customers across the United States, ensuring a positive, consistent customer experience with every interaction.
Main Responsibilities- Order Management: Process orders to meet customer requirements by partnering with USALCO plants and logistics for on-time order fulfillment.
- Customer Contact: Handle extensive external and internal customer contact through order handling, problem-solving, and fielding general inquiries.
- Revenue Recognition: Develop an understanding of the order-to-cash cycle and revenue recognition requirements.
- Customer Understanding: Ability to understand customer requirements and interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Communication Skills: Effective two-way communication with internal and external customers.
- Problem-Solving: Proactive handling of customer orders and problem-solving.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years' prior experience within a chemical manufacturing environment. Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office is required. Preferred qualifications include ERP experience and continuous improvement activities like LEAN and Six Sigma.
