Senior Global Payroll Specialist Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Global Payroll Specialist to join our Finance Team at Labster Aps.

The primary responsibility of the Senior Global Payroll Specialist will be to process our global payrolls across entities in the USA, Spain, Denmark, UK, Canada, and Switzerland.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process payrolls across entities, manage subcontractor payrolls, and lead communication and alignment with the People Department related to Payroll.
  • Handle employee reimbursements, monitor, book, and reconcile commissions and bonus calculations.
  • Take part in streamlining and optimizing our processes between the People Department and finance.
  • Perform month-end reconciliations and analysis, including vacation liabilities, tax liabilities, and benefit liabilities.
  • Assist with the annual audit process, monitor Payroll-related tax compliance, and coordinate the annual 401k audit.
  • Continuously improve financial processes and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience preparing Payroll, preferably in international organizations.
  • 3+ years of experience with tools like ADP, Humaans, NetSuite, Excel, and Google Sheets.
  • Exceptional analytical skills coupled with a solid understanding of business dynamics.
  • Strong communication and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and with the senior leadership team.
  • Verbal and written fluency in English.
