About the Role

Solutions & Decisions, a leading company in supply chain transformation and talent development, is seeking a highly skilled Global Sales and Operations Planning Leader for a multinational client in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods sector in Barcelona.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and develop the Global Sales and Operations Planning process for a cosmetic brand.
  • Ensure accurate and timely total forecast for all products, optimizing inventory levels and costs.
  • Consolidate and challenge forecasts from all markets, detecting risks and opportunities versus budget.
  • Provide inputs to the Strategic Sales and Operations Planning process.
Key Accountabilities
  • Coordinate global forecasting for launches and promotional items.
  • Lead regular goods sales forecast and detect deviations versus budget.
  • Provide data for Global Sales and Operations Meeting with Global Brands, Global Finance, and Global Supply Planning.
  • Lead forecasting process and control deviations by brand.
Requirements
  • At least 5 years of experience as Demand Planner or minimum 5 years in other Supply Chain areas.
  • Experience in the cosmetic industry is highly valued.
  • Graduate in Engineering, Administration, or similar; Master in Supply Chain is a plus.
  • Fluent English and Spanish are required.
  • High analytical profile, holistic vision, team management, and communication skills.
  • High skills in Excel, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft Office software.
  • SAP, JDA, APO, or similar planning tools are mandatory.
