Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Global Demand Planning Manager to lead and develop the Global Sales and Operations Planning process for our cosmetic brand. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that the total forecast for all products is available on time with enough accuracy to ensure service level, optimized inventory levels, and optimal cost.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the Global Sales and Operations Planning Process, coordinating launches and promotional items global forecasting, and regular goods sales forecast.
  • Detect main deviations in the sales forecast vs the budget and highlight risk and opportunities.
  • Provide inputs for the Strategic Sales and Operations Planning Process.
  • Lead the Global Sales and Operations Meeting with Global Brands, Global Finance, and Global Supply Planning, providing data on service level, forecast accuracy, sales forecast vs budget, and stock management data.
  • Lead the forecasting process and control deviations by brand, generating forecasts for Rest of the World and challenging global forecasts by detecting big deviations vs last month or vs budget.
  • Challenge markets to ensure proper global sizing and phasing of launches and promotional goods, benchmarking with brand expectations.
  • Ensure communication and feedback with the Local Demand Planning Community.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience as Demand Planner or minimum 5 years of experience in other Supply Chain areas.
  • Experience in the cosmetic industry is highly valued.
  • Graduate in Engineering, Administration, or similar, Master in Supply Chain is a plus.
  • Fluent English and Spanish are required.
  • High skills in Excel, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft Office software.
  • SAP, JDA, APO, or similar planning tool is mandatory.
