About the Role

Solutions & Decisions is seeking a highly skilled Demand Planning Manager to lead the Global Sales and Operations Planning process for a multinational client in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods sector in Barcelona.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and develop the Global Sales and Operations Planning process for a cosmetic brand.
  • Ensure that the total forecast for all products is available on time with enough accuracy to ensure service level, optimized inventory levels, and optimal cost.
  • Consolidate and challenge the forecast from all markets and detect risks and opportunities vs the budget, ensuring consistency between the demand plan and business figures.
  • Provide inputs to the Strategic Sales and Operations Planning process.
Requirements
  • At least 5 years of experience as Demand Planner or minimum 5 years of experience in other Supply Chain areas.
  • Experience in the cosmetic industry is highly valued.
  • Graduate in Engineering, Administration, or similar, Master in Supply Chain is a plus.
  • Fluent English and Spanish are required.
  • High analytical profile, holistic vision, team management, and communication skills.
  • High skills in Excel, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft Office software.
  • SAP, JDA, APO, or similar planning tools are mandatory.
